The Austrian Gold Philharmonic is a gold bullion coin produced by the Austrian Mint. It is notable as the first gold bullion coin denominated in Euros. The gold bullion coins have been quite popular over the years. During the 1990's it was the highest selling gold bullion coin worldwide during three years.
The Gold Philharmonic honors the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The obverse depicts the Great Organ. The reverse depicts an assortment of instruments from the orchestra. The bullion coins have been available in 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, and 1/10 oz sizes.
