Canadian Platinum Maple Leaf

The Canadian Platinum Maple Leaf was a later addition to the bullion coin offerings from the Royal Canadian Mint. The coins were offered from 1988 to 1999, then again in 2002. The series is expected to be revived once again for 2009.

The coins have been offered in a wide range of sizes including 1 oz, 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz, 1/15 oz, and 1/20 oz platinum sizes. The coins carry the familiar design of the Maple Leaf on the reverse with the Queen on the obverse.
